Flashing Seal 1

During the process of this New Home Building inspection the building inspector found that the roof flashing had not been sealed with a flexible sealant, allowing wind driven rain to penetrate the internal areas, which may lead to material deterioration to other areas.
Water has a tendency to travel along roofing members to other areas.
This roof had quite a few areas that would allow water to penetrate into the ceiling.
This house was said to be ready to handover and was the same day that the area had a lot of heavy rain after the inspection.
