Flooding to new home

Poor landscaping with incorrect levels around the external walls has resulted in surface water ponding against the house wall to a depth of 75mm.
This oversight meant that the new house was not ready for handover and other trades were called back in to rectify the problems.
Note the tide mark on the wall. Brisbane and Ipswich Queensland often has large amounts of rain in a short amount of time, it must be ensured that the site drainage will take the water to the stormwater system effectively and not pond at the house.
