Insulation incorrectly installed

The fibre glass batts have not been installed into the ceiling to the manufacturers instructions.
This may void the manufacturers warranty.
It is important to install installation correctly.
Avoid gaps in all types of insulation. Even a small gap can greatly reduce the insulating value.
Our building inspector takes a temperature reading in the ceiling void during the building inspection and sometimes there is very little difference in the temperatures with incorrectly installed insulation and no insulation.
Fit batts snugly and don't leave gaps around ducts and pipes.
