Render fault

Brick rendering has been applied after guttering was installed on this new house, leaving gaps at the flashing and a gap in the external waterproof membrane allowing moisture penetration to internal areas.
This was one of many items found during the building inspection on this new home ready for handover.
The building supervisor had to rectify the problems before settlement as the property was deemed not waterproof.
