Remember the mail box.

The postie is not obliged to dismount when delivering your mail.

Your box needs to be facing the street on the boundary of the property and be a height of 900 to 1200  for residential properties or 600 to 1600 for multi residential properties.

Street numbers are essential for emergency services and others.

Our building inspectors find the mail boxes are often not placed where they are easily seen and accessible and sometimes are in poor condition and includes this in their builidng inspection report.
