Unlicensed Contractors

Un Licensed contractors are required by laws to state in advertising that they cannot engage in building work with the value of $1100 or more. This includes materials and labour.
 Failure to comply will result in $7500 fine per offence.

All licensed contactors must include their licence number in all advertising, this includes business cards and all forms of advertising. This is for your protection, so if you do not see their license number we recommend that you ask them for their license number and do a license search on the BSA site.
