Builders rubbish in gutters of New building at Practical completion

During the new building inspection at practical completion stage nearly box of screws and other rubbish was noted in the gutters.

The builders are meant to remove all treated timber, mortar, nails, screws and other rubbish form the gutters so that the debris does not cause the gutters to rust and does not impede their function.
Roofing screws, mortar and rubbish may block the down pipes and cause water to back flow into the ceiling and the building.
This is an issue that seems to be forgotten and one that the Brisbane building inspector is finding a lot during the new home inspection at the practical completion stage and prior to handover.
