New building inspection with wavy roofing sheeting at the valley gutter

A new building inspection at Ipswich for the practical completion stage inspection this year revealed, amongst other things, a poor wavy line of the Colourbond roofing sheets at the valley gutters.
When questioned about this issue and the poor wavy cuts, astonishingly, the supervisor claimed that the roofers did not cut the sheets but tore them.
This is defective work and not to industry standards.
This is the first time the Ipswich building inspector has seen the roof sheeting installed on any building in Australia and he has been in the industry a very long time.
