Termite mound in the roof restricts access for building inspection

The building and pest inspectors had trouble gaining access to the roof void of this property due to a large termite mound partially covering the man hole during the pre purchase building inspection.
If the owners of the property had been having their termite inspections at the recommended stage then this issue and the damage that resulted in termite infestation would have been avoided. The fee for the termite inspections would definitely have been cheaper than the repairs for the damage found.
It is very important to have pest inspections conducted at the recommend intervals by your professional termite inspector.
A good pest inspector will go into the roof void if possible.
Please have your regular inspections by a licensed termite inspector.
